New iOS 9.2.1 released fixing “Error 53” but there is a biggest drawback!

Apple has released an updated version of iOS 9.2.1 to fix the “Error 53” issue which was faced by many users. The “Error 53” could brick the device and make it useless. This problem was mainly caused by an unauthorized Touch ID sensor replacement.

The previous version of iOS 9.2.1 came with the build number 13D15 whereas the new iOS 9.2.1 came with the build number 13D20. There is no any extra features on this iOS except the “Error 53” bug fixes.

Apple has released an updated version of iOS 9.2.1 to fix the “Error 53” issue which was faced by many users. The “Error 53” could brick the device and make it useless. This problem was mainly caused by an unauthorized Touch ID sensor replacement.

Now the users can restore their device using iTunes if they’ve bricked their device by an unauthorized TouchID replacement. The new updated version of iOS 9.2.1 is not available on OTA (over the air). That means you need to manually update your device via iTunes using your PC. 

Although it will fix the “Error 53” issue but there is a biggest drawback that you will ever like. If you have an “Error 53” issue, your device will get a life by this new update again. But you will never be able to use your TouchID to unlock your device, downloading apps etc. Your home button will work but not the Touch ID censor which is a big thing to worry about. But you can still use a passcode to unlock your device and install the app by manually entering the Apple ID password. You will need to replace your Touch ID censor from an authorized Apple care in-order make your TouchID work again.

The new iOS 9.2.1 is available for following devices running 64 bit processor.
