Apple releases iOS 9.3 beta 4 to public with Night Shift, Touch ID Notes and more

Apple has released the iOS 9.3 beta 4 to public tester’s just days after the release of same beta version for developers and the final version of iOS 9.3 is expected to release to public next month. The update is available through the Apple Developer Center or via over-the-air (OTA) update on devices that are running the previous iOS 9.3 beta 3

Apple has added a number of new features in this beta including Night Shift mode, password protection for the Notes app, new 3D Touch actions for stock apps like Weather, Settings, Compass, enhancements to the Health and Activity apps, iCloud for iBooks PDF syncing, App Store, iTunes Store and much more.

One of the primary new features in iOS 9.3 beta 4 is Night Shift mode, which also includes a toggle within Control Center. Night Shift Mode makes the color of your iOS devices display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day and it also prevents eyestrain and easier to wind down.

The compatible devices for iOS 9.3 beta 4:
  • iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5,     iPhone 4S
  • iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad mini, iPad 3, iPad 2
  • iPad mini 3, Retina iPad mini (iPad mini 2), iPad mini
  • 6th & 5th generation iPod touch
