With the release of iOS 10, Apple has removed the hardcore features of iOS devices “Slide to Unlock” and the Game Center app in iOS 10 beta.

Instead of “Slide to Unlock”, you’ll see a small text that says “Press Home to Unlock”. Though Press Home to Unlock feature is nice than previous Slide to Unlock gesture. Apple should not remove this but could redesign a awesome Slide to Unlock gesture.

With the release of iOS 10, Apple has removed the hardcore features of iOS devices “Slide to Unlock” and the Game Center app in iOS 10 beta.

According to iOS release notes, Apple has also removed the Game Center app and says developers will now need to implement their own leader board interface using GameKit.

The Game Center app has been removed. If your game implements GameKit features, it must also implement the interface behavior necessary for the user to see these features. For example, if your game supports leaderboards, it could present a GKGameCenterViewController object or read the data directly from Game Center to implement a custom user interface.
