With the
removal of the headphone jack in the new generation iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus,
Apple introduces a new lighting Earpods. As report from Business Insider, Some
iPhone 7 users have found an annoying bug with the wired Lightning EarPods that
come with the iPhone 7 which continues to audio function but the controls stop
working, preventing you from adjusting volume, activating Siri, or answering
calls. To get rid of this bug you need to unplug the EarPods and plug them again
to temporarily fix it.
It’s unclear
if the problem affects third-party Lightning headphones. The bug
doesn’t happen every time. It’s seemingly intermittent and random.

To prevent this iPhone 7 Lightning EarPods Bug, Apple says it will fix in the upcoming software updates. So don’t worry about this issue and wait for the next software update of iOS 10.
