officially started producing iPhone SE handsets in India. It is the first time

The manufacturing
of Apples cheapest iPhone SE was handled by Taiwanese manufacturer Wistron
located in Karnataka and has already began producing small number of handsets
as a trial. The cheaper iPhone is expected to hit the store by this week or the
next month.
Now the
iPhone SE is being produced in India, the local citizen are expected to get it
much cheaper than expected. As of report, Apple is planning to sell iPhone SE
at around Rs. 20,000 and also planning to offer cash back offers to attract the
customers.
Apple has also
planned to manufacture other iPhone variants in upcoming future. Assembling
iPhone in India benefits Apple from saving on custom duties and import taxes which
also directly benefits the customer to get iPhones in cheaper price.
