Apple ordered 70 million units of OLDED Panels from Samsung

Apple has already placed an order for 70
million unit of OLED displays from Samsung Electronics to be used in the
upcoming iPhone 8.  This huge order
indicates that Apple is coming with something interesting and is confident
about the product.

Apple is expected to launch 3 models of
iPhone 8 this year on the occasion of its 10th anniversary. The premium model with
OLED display technology will cost more than $1000 according to the source.
The three different handset models will be
available in different sizes; 5.2 inches (premium model), 4.7 inches and 5.7
inches. Apple will use OLED displays only in 5.2 inches premium model while
other two handsets 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch will still use the existing liquid
crystal display technology.
Besides the display technology, the new
iPhone will feature wireless charging, waterproof, no physical home button, 3D sensors
for facial recognition and more.
The upcoming iPhone 8 will be launched
later this year at Apples event which will probably held on September.
