Apple Releases Beta 5 of iOS 12.2, watchOS 5.2 and tvOS 12.2 To Developer

    Apple seeded the fifth beta of iOS 12.2 for iPhone and iPad to its registered developers and members of the Apple Developer Program. It is still not sure what this new beta consists but the previous Beta came with numerous fixes and changes that are mentioned below:

    • Apple News support in Canada
    • Support for AirPods 2 with the Hey Siri feature
    •  Four new Animoji
    • New Screen mirroring icon
    • Changes in Control Center menu
    • New Music control button
    • Fullscreen Apple tv remote interface
    • HomeApp supports AirPlay2 TV’s
    • Changes in Apple Music
    • New Siri Music Player,
    • The animation in a Wallet card
    • New Film category in TV app
    • and more

    Along with that iOS 12.2 beta includes new boar, shark, giraffe, and owl Animoji characters, Safari security features etc.

    Downloading and Installing iOS 12.2 beta 5

    iOS 12.2 beta 5 can be downloaded by signing up by going to the Apple Developer Program with the necessary configuration installed on your device. After that, iOS 12.2 beta 5 can be downloaded by going to SettingsGeneralSoftware Update.

    Similarly, Apple also releases fifth betas of watchOS 5.2  and tvOS 12.2 to developers.

    Installing watchOS 5.2 beta 5

    WatchOS 5.2 beta 5 can be downloaded My Watch → General → Software Update in the companion Watch app on your iPhone

    Installing tvOS 12.2 beta 5

    tvOS 12.2 beta 5 can be easily installed from the Settings → System → Software Updates → Update Software.
