Apple to build three Giant Factories inside US

Apple is reportedly building three big manufacturing plants in
the United States according to an interview with US president Donald Trump. In
the interview with The Wall Street Journal, Trump said that Tim Cook has
promised him to build three big manufacturing factories in the United States.
“I spoke to [Mr. Cook], he’s promised me three big
plants–big, big, big,” Mr. Trump said as part of a discussion about
business-tax reform and business investment. “I said you know, Tim, unless you
start building your plants in this country, I won’t consider my administration
an economic success. He called me, and he said they are going forward.”

Apple has reportedly asked its major suppliers Foxconn and
Pegatron to make iPhones in the United States since Trump announced to build
every Apple product within the US instead of other countries.
Apple has already announced to invest $1 billion to build
plants in the US back in May but it has not commented on the report shared by
the WSJ. Let’s wait until Apple makes an official announcement by
themselves.
