Apple to start Manufacturing iPhone in India over the next few weeks

While the Indian Government rejected
most of Apples demand for tax concession, Apple has moved one step ahead to
manufacture iPhones in the country within 4-6 weeks.
Indian Government has been refusing
Apples Demand from time to time. But now the company has decided to produce
iPhones whether the government agree or disagree the demands made by Apple.
Apple has demanded 15 year tax
concession on import tariff and exemption from the norms of locally sourcing at
least 30 percent of the components used inside its devices.

will be manufacturing iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S in the first phase and eventually
start producing iPhone SE after few months.

Also the iPhone produced in India is to
meet the local demand only not for exporting purpose. So the devices that will
be built in India will be for Indian market only. It cannot export it to other
countries as per agreement.
