Apple releases iOS 11.2.5 Beta 1 to Developers

Apple has seeded new beta for iOS 11.2.5 which is available
to download for registered developer only. If you are a developer and want to install
iOS 11.2.5 beta 1 on your iOS device, check out Apple Developer website or you
can directly install over the air if your device is already registered with the
beta configuration profile.

The iOS 11.2.5 Beta 1 is released focusing on fixing bugs and make improvements over the latest iOS 11.2.1. This beta is not aimed to introduce new features or update. But if incase if there is any new features added, we will surely update it.

Apple releases iOS 11.2.1 with a small fix update for iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. It basically fixes the HomeKit accessories in Home app and auto focus bug on iPhone X and iPhone 8. Also Apple has fixed along with new features like improved battery life, offline siri, improvement in maps in previous iOS.

Likewise Apple included improved Animojis on iPhone X, great battery life, iTunes tab is slightly changed, fast wireless charging, offline Siri(invoke Siri even without no internet connection), improvements in Maps and other more features in iOS 11.2.1. In addition to that, Control Center also works on Reachability on iPhone X which is amazing.

iOS 11.2.1 is available for download on iPhone – iPad and iPod touch via OTA over-the-air from iOS settings app through Settings >> General >> Software Update >> Download & Install or you can also install and update using iTunes too with direct or manually method. If you want to manually install via iTunes then you need to download IPSW file from our download page.

Recently, Security researcher Ian Beer announced that he will be releasing the jailbreak for iOS 11.1.2 or lower. But you might have updated your iPhone to the latest version to iOS 11.2 intentionally or accidently. So, can I downgrade to iOS 11.1.2? Yes! you can downgrade your iPhone or iPad to iOS 11.1.2 or lower with Prometheus tool or TSS Saver online since Apple is still signing the window of firmware and Apple allows for limited time.SHSH blobs is saved for downgrading purpose if you aren’t satisfied with the current version of iOS or want to jailbreak your iOS devices.

What would I do if Apple Stops Signing the iOS 11.1.2 or lower firmware?

It is always good to save SHSH blobs for downgrading your iPhone/iPad at any time even when Apple Stops Signing the window of any version. But make sure to save the SHSH blobs for iOS 11.1.2 before Apple closes the window.

You can enjoy the upgraded version of iOS 11.2 and downgrade to iOS 11.1.2 anytime with the saved SHSH blobs to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad when released. So be prepared to save the SHSH blobs for a future jailbreak.

How to downgrade to iOS 11.1.2 with SHSH blobs

You will then see the ECID.
You may need to convert the HEX ECID to decimal from here
Next right click on it and copy it to the Clipboard or save it to the notepad

How to Save SHSH blobs for iOS 11.1.2 or lower

Simply follow these steps to save SHSH blobs before Apple stops the signed iOS 11.1.2 firmware file.

After that, paste the ECID number
Select your iPhone or iPad
Now, enter your device’s identifier and click Submit.

After submitting, it will give the saved SHSH2 blobs and will let you downgrade your iPhone or iPad to iOS 11.1.2 or any version or for a jailbreak if released.

Let’s add some Apple Watch Inspired Analog & Digital clock on your jailbroken iPhone
running iOS 10.

A new cydia tweak called LockWatch lets you to add some varieties of Analog Clock inspired from Apple Watch. LockWatch is developed by Sniper_GER which has featured several Apple Watch Analog clock faces on Lockscreen of your Jailbroken devices.

LockWatch automatically fits the iPhone screen when the notification pops up on Lockscreen Banner.

Along with that, LockWatch, the tweak supports both analog and digital watch faces like Utility (analog), Simple (analog), Color (analog), Chronograph (analog), X-Large (digital) & Weather (analog).

You can also add weather to the current location to the Apple watches faces as in the screenshot. Similarly, you can customize the Lockscreen Watch faces same like in Apple Watch like changing the color of the UI, Adding or removing styling, hiding or showing the Date and more.

Let’s add some Apple Watch Inspired Analog & Digital clock on your jailbroken iPhone running iOS 10 with a new cydia tweak called LockWatch

LockWatch is not available in the Official Repo BigBoss. You can install it by adding the third-party repo in the Source tab of Cydia.

How to Add Festival Repo & install LockWatch on iPhone

First of all, your device need to be jailbroken
After then launch Cydia and go to the Sources tab
Now tap on the Edit button & tap on Add button
Next type the repository url; https://festival.ml/repo/
Now tap on the Add Source button
It will now add the Festival Repo on Cydia
Now go to Search tab and type LockWatch & Install it
After you have installed it, respring your device once.

After installing the tweak, you can have the option to configure from the settings app in the tweak preferences where you can enable or disable the tweak.

A cydia alternative is finally here for iOS 10 – iOS 10.3.2 “Houdini” that lets you install some tweaks, install theme and more on 64 bit iPhones and iPads.

Developer Abraham Masri has found an cydia alternative for iPhone and iPad running iOS 10 – iOS 10.3.2 (except iOS 10.3.3) on 64 bit devices which you can call as a semi-jailbreak for iOS device. Remember that, this tool is not a full Jailbreak but it basically work just like cydia where you can customize your iOS device at some point but without a full Jailbreak.Get ready for iOS 11.1.2/11.1.1/11.1/11.0.3/11.0.2/11.0.1 Jailbreak ! COMINGSOON…

The developer also noted that the app is still in development phase so many of the tweaks and functions might not work properly so anyone who wants to install this app will have to install with their own risk.

“This is not meant to be a jailbreak replacement nor is this a full jailbreak. It will never be. Although it is safe to use, I am not responsible for any mess up. Also, some features might not work in beta.”

If you would like to install Houdini on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 10 – iOS 10.3.2 then follow these steps

Step 1: Download Houdini .ipa and Cydia Impactor file on your computer

Step 2: Launch Cydia Impactor and connect your iOS device on computer using a data cable

Step 3: Drag the Houdini.ipa file on Cydia Impactor Window

Step 4: Enter your Apple ID and Password

Step 5: On your iOS device, Go to Settings – General – Profile & Device Management and Trust the new Certificate

Step 6: Launch Houdini app – Tap Start and Done

Make sure you backup all your iOS device before trying Houdini.

Here’s how to downgrade iOS 11.2 to iOS 11.1.2, 11.1.1 or below on your iPhone/iPad via IPSW file.

As earlier, Ian Beer has tweeted that the jailbreak for iOS 11, 11.0.1, 11.1 or 11.1.2 will be released soon. So get ready for iOS 11 jailbreak.

If you are on lower version of iOS 11 like iOS 11.0.1, 11.0.2, 11.0.3, 11.1, 11.1.1 and 11.1.2, do not upgrade it to iOS 11.2 since you are on the right path for iOS 11 jailbreak and if you have already installed iOS 11.2, then you can downgrade it to lower version like iOS 11.1.2 & 11.1. It’s been a long time there is no jailbreak for iOS 11 and eagerly waiting for its jailbreak release.

So before it’s too late, downgrade your iPhone or iPad to iOS 11.1.2 or lower and wait for a jailbreak release.

First of all, you need to download the iOS iOS 11.1.2 or 11.1.1 firmware file for your device from our Download page or from ipsw.meStep 1# You need to upgrade or download iTunes to the latest version on your Mac or PC.

Step 2# Now Turn off Find my iPhone & disable passcode lock via the Settings app. (Settings > iCloud > Find my iPhone).

Step 3# Launch iTunes & connect your iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch using data cable to your computer.

Step 4# Hold the Alt/Option key on the Mac or Shift Key in Windows on your keyboard and click Update or Restore.

Note: IF YOU WANT TO FRESH INSTALL THEN GO WITH RESTORE OTHERWISE UPDATE IT.

Step 5# Now Select the signed ipsw iOS 11.1.2 or iOS 11.1.1 iOS file you had downloaded earlier

Step 6# Then click on the Restore iPhone.

Step 7# iTunes will inform that it will restore your iPhone to iOS 11.1.2 or iOS 11.1.1 and Click Restore

After restored, your device will reboot to the welcome screen and will now install iOS 11.1.2 or iOS 11.1.1 on your device.

That’s it. Your device should now be successfully downgraded to iOS 11.1.2 or iOS 11.1.1 from iOS 11.2. Your downgrading process is completed; you need to now set up your device by following the on-screen instructions.

Couple of days back, Apple released iOS 11.2 with bug fixes and improvements. Another thing that you may not have noticed is it actually added three live wallpapers for iPhone X.

If you have iPhone X that is running iOS 11.2 then you can enjoy the beautiful new live wallpapers straight away by going to Settings – Wallpaper and then choosing any one from them.

Dubai Police now accepts Traffic Fines via Apple Pay

Paying traffic fines to Dubai Police has been as easy as you have thought.

Now the Dubai residents can pay fines using Apple Pay in police service centers or at smart police stations as noted by Director General of the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Dubai Police, Brigadier Khalid Nasser Al Razzouqi.

The Department of Artificial Intelligence at Dubai has upgraded a smart platform to pay transaction fees by using Apple Pay feature of smart phones at all service centres and the Smart Police Stations (SPS)

If you are a Dubai resident and have integrated your credit card from any of these six UAE Banks in Apple Pay, then you can start using this feature right away. The Bank are listed below:

Emirates NBD

Mashreq

Emirates Islamic

RAK Bank

HSBC

Standard Chartered

The traffic fine payment system is currently available in City Walk but there are more stations coming in future in places like Media City, Dubai International Academic City and Dubai Design District (d3).

This new system of fines payment is going to save lots of time and will shorten several steps in electronic payment.

Apple releases iOS 11.2 final for all public with many more new features and bug fixes. Recently, new iOS bug was found that causes iPhone to crash at 12:15 am. That is your iPhone resprings at this time eventually. Now Apple has fixed along with new features like improved battery life, offline siri, improvement in maps.

Likewise Apple included improved Animojis on iPhone X, great battery life, iTunes tab is slightly changed, fast wireless charging, offline Siri(invoke Siri even without no internet connection), improvements in Maps and other more features in iOS 11.2. In addition to that, Control Center also works on Reachability on iPhone X which is amazing.

There are other bug fixes and improvements in iOS 11.2 in control center toggles, lag input in Calculator, keyboard, refined animation, faster & lot more features new Sirikit for HomePod, notifications restrictions in tv app, emojis, return of 3D touch app switcher, some changes in Accessibility and more.
