Google announces Pixel 2 along with Pixelbook, Pixel Buds, Home Mini speakers and more

Google on Wednesday announced series of its new techs at a
press event that includes the new Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Smartphone,
Pixelbook Laptops, Pixel Buds Wireless Earbuds, Home Mini and Max Speakers,
Clip Camera and a new VR Headset.

Let’s sneak up with each of these new techs launched by
Google yesterday:


Google Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL
Google launched two Pixel smartphones with 5 inch and 6 inch
in display size. The 5 inch model features a 1080p LCD screen whereas the 6
inch Pixel 2 features a Quad HD OLED Screen. Besides the size factor, both
phones shares similar features into it.

The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are powered by Snapdragon 836 chip
and 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB storage. The new smartphones has a Fingerprint
sensor on back, runs the latest Android 8.0 Oreo and a new Active Edge feature
where users can squeeze the device in order to invoke Google Assistant. Both
smartphones are now Dust and Water Resistant.


The new 12 MP camera on Google Pixel 2 features both hardware
and software image stabilization and they are optimized for ARCore. ARCore is a
rival of Apple’s ARKit. The phone now has its own Portrait Mode that achieves a
blur background just like iPhone but with just one camera.

Google Pixel  2 is
priced at $649 and Pixel 2 XL is priced at $849 pre-order starting from Today.

Pixelbook Laptop
Google also announced a new Pixelbook that features a 12.3
inch convertible laptop with built in Google Assistant. It can either be used
as a laptop or you can just fold it to use it as a Touchscreen Tablet. The
Pixelbook offers Fast Charging feature that can give you up-to 2 hours of
battery life with just a 15 minute of charge. It is 10 mm thin and weighs just
1kg.

Google has also introduced a new stylus to be used with
Pixelbook but sold separately. The new stylus cost $99 and the Pixelbook is
priced at $999. Pre-orders now available.

Pixel Buds Wireless Earphones
The Apple Airpod rival is here. Google has announced its
Wireless Earphone that is built in with a microphone, an accelerometer and a
capacitive touchpad to launch Google Assistant. Google’s Pixel Buds offers five
hours of battery backup and comes with a charging case that can charge Pixel
Buds up to 24 hours of listening time.

Pixel Buds comes in a multiple color of Black, White and Blue
and are priced at $159. Pre-orders now available.

Home Mini and Max Speakers
Google also announced two speakers at press event: Home Mini and
Home Max. Home Mini is a budget speaker that is available only for $49 that
offers a touch surface, Google Assistant with LED lights and a microphone
switch.

Whereas, Home Max is a premium speaker that is 20 times
powerful than a regular 4.5 inch woofer. The new speaker has a pair of 0.7 inch
tweeter that can adjust the sound according to the room environment.

Home Max can be paired with another Home Max for even louder
and powerful sound.
The Home Max is rival to Apple’s HomePod and is priced at
$399. Pre-orders now available.

Clip Camera
The new Clip camera by Google is powered by Machine Learning
that can detect various object and provide the accurate information. This
camera is specially made to watch over your near and dear once for example pets
and families. It can record and send the best footage to your smartphone in a
best quality.

The Clip Camera is priced at $249 and will soon be available.

Google Daydream View
Google also unveiled its new enhanced Daydream View VR
Headsets. The Daydream View is now even lighter, soft and comfortable with a
premium two toned fabric and new custom designed lenses. The Headset now
provides widest field of view and the AR Objects can be rendered in 60FPS.
The Google Daydram View is available in three colors that
includes Fog, Charcoal and Coral and is priced at $99.
