How to Preserve and Save Last Camera Mode as default in iOS 10.2 on iPhone and iPad

By default, when using iPhone/iPad
Camera it opens up to photo mode by which you can take pictures very quickly
and is so easy too. But what if you want Video, TimeLapse, Slow-Motion, Square,
Potrait, or Panoroma mode as default last mode when you use iPhone Camera
rather than selecting each mode when using it.

For this, you will need to install iOS10.2 or later on the iPhone or iPad to have the preserve camera settings
feature
, so that you can set or adjust default camera mode.

To Preserve Camera Setting in iOS 10.2
  • Open the “Settings” app and go to
    “Photos & Camera”
  • Tap on “Preserve Settings”
  • Toggle ON the switch of “Camera Mode”
Open the Camera on iPhone or iPad and
choose any camera mode you want to use like Video, Square, Slow-motion,
Time-Lapse, Panorama, Portrait, or Photos.

So when you open the Camera app, the
last used Camera Mode will become the default camera mode or preserve the last
camera mode. It also preserve camera mode even if you use Transfer filter.
